NBC is pretty happy about their SNF game this week. And why wouldn't they be? The Pats-Colts game taps out as the game of the week. I'm sure that NBC will also feature a crapload of talk about Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Randy Moss and Bill Belichick so there won't be quiet moment during the high octane action on the field.
On the other hand . . .
ESPN would be hoping to use the flex schedule for their Monday Night game. Baltimore and Cleveland. Cleveland? Any other network want to swap? You could almost hear the resignation in the voices of Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden and Ron Jaworski when they tried to drum up interest in next week's game. Cleveland frickin' Browns. See how long it takes before someone starts talking up the Titans-Texans game for the following week.
