MVP Ratings - QBs

I came up with a formula to rank offensive players against each other. It is a way of comparing QBs, RBs and receivers to see which players stand out. It is not foolproof but I think it comes up with a pretty good overview of who the best players are.

The other thing it does for QBs is that it doesn't rely on their pass rating to rate them. I always found it unsatisfying when a player had the "highest QB rating of all time" but they had only been in the league for a few years and obviously their pass rating dropped as they neared the end of their career. My system rewards a player for production.

For example, Seattle QB Matt Hasselbeck has the 5th highest QB rating but he has only played in 3 games and thrown for 617 yards. Tom Brady has the 19th best QB rating but is ranked 5th in my system as he has thrown for twice as many yards as Hasselbeck.

Anyway, here are the rankings after Week 5.
