Game of the Week - Week 8

Minnesota Vikings (6-1) at Green Bay Packers (4-2) [-1]

New York Giants (5-2) [-0] at Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)
Denver Broncos (6-0) [-2] at Baltimore Ravens (3-3)
Atlanta Falcons (4-2) at New Orleans Saints (6-0) [-7]
San Francisco 49ers (3-3) at Indianapolis Colts (6-0) [-8]
Houston Texans (4-3) [-2] at Buffalo Bills (3-4)
Seattle Seahawks (2-4) at Dallas Cowboys (4-2) [-3]
Miami Dolphins (2-4) at New York Jets (4-3) [-4]
Carolina Panthers (2-4) at Arizona Cardinals (4-2) [-7]
Cleveland Browns (1-6) at Chicago Bears (3-3) [-7]
Oakland Raiders (2-5) at San Diego Chargers (3-3) [-10]
Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) [-7] at Tennessee Titans (0-6)
St. Louis Rams (0-7) at Detroit Lions (1-5) [-5]

Expect ESPN to feature Brett Favre's return to Green Bay in a big way. I know it's a more of a human interest story to them but it should be the best game of the week on its own merits.

A lot of games where one team can look to salvage their season before it is too late. Another loss to many of those two-win teams and it could be well and truly over for 2009.

I have an unhealthy fascination with each dog of the week. The Rams and Lions should be an interesting game (notice I avoided quotation marks around interesting). The Fox Sports team of Ron Pitts and John Lynch that is covering the game is probably wondering what the hell they did wrong.
